I agree with you.
I have never liked flying at all.

But I have never been "afraid" going to an airport and deal with the people working there.

Now I am. Cause ;

I cant ask questions at all. Then I can get arrested and/or miss my flight. Or both.

I cant show emotions;

Cause then I could either be told to shut and stand still. Or being accused of interfering with security. Or being a "terrorist" cause I seem nerveous.

I can get groped in places that is considered not an sexual insult.

I could get hurt.

I can be yelled at.

I can get bullied.

And to top it I will miss my flight.

All this cause I want to see my elderly mother and my kids/grandkids in my birth country.

It doesnt even seem worth it any more.

Cause by the time I land I will need rest emotionally from all this.
