Looking at the CX website, it states that they will waive the first year annual fee: http://www.cathaypacific.com/cpa/en_HK/ffp/cobrand

But looking at http://www.americanexpress.com/hk/en...F140CX92#/home or https://www212.americanexpress.com/d...00defaad94RCRD

it doesn't mention anything about first year annual fee waiver. Can anyone confirm if there is a first year free?
