Yup, ran into this problem with our family of 5 trying to purchase metro cards. Fortunately we had a number of credit cards availible, but it was annoying to discover them getting blocked as we tried to purchase multiple cards or refill multiple cards. Multiple metro cards were needed as sometimes we seperated for periods of time.
