Has anyone booked award travel on this route? I'm thinking of doing it with AA miles. When I casually inquired a few months ago with AA rez about seats, it did seem like LAN had given some to AA to "award." But when I called back today to see what might be available, the agent couldn't find any for month-long periods. The flight originates in Quito, stops in Guayaquil, and then goes to Galapagos (GPS) airport. It seems to run daily.

My recollection is you can go to BA's website to get accurate "oneworld" award seat inventory. Does that work well for LAN? I really hate asking AA agents "blindly" to find partner seats since, more often than not, they act like they're doing YOU a favor by searching at all.

My other experience with LAN is that, except for their main LAN Chile subsidary, they can be "lazy" about loading oneworld seat inventory. Like I know there are some LAN Argentina routes that they somehow never get around to offering seats. When I once asked AA about this, they were unwilling to even call LAN to ask what the story was. So if it's not there, you're just seemingly out-of-luck for partner award travel.
