That is great news and very pertinent. I am not a frequent FAT-LAX flyer so wasn't aware of this option. As I traveled today I ended up departing Terminal 4 after leaving the AE shuttle bus to walk to Terminal 5 which required another long visit though TSA. Avoiding that would have been nice.
