Just stayed in this hotel recently and was surprised that the restaurant did not offer a hot buffet breakfast, only continental although hot items could be ordered. It was a bit of a pain, to flag down the (very pleasant) waiter just to get eggs and bacon. Also inconvenient because I don't always want a full order and with a hot buffet can help myself to the portion I want.
How common is this type of set-up at HGInns? Every HGI I've stayed at has always had the full buffet.

Also, by 9 PM the bar and restaurant were shut down for the night. So much for a nightcap after working in my room for a while!
