I had that same Breakfast on ZRH-LHR in C in November (LX316, leaving at 7:10).
I also flew ZRH-MAD a week or two previously (LX2020, leaving at 7:05), and was given an option of that or (IIRC) a Spanish Omelette or some such (don't think the FA quite knew what to call it in english) - presumably more due to the Sector length, as the orders were then individually prepared on the MAD Flight, whereas on the LHR Flight, it was presented as a fait acomplie (although no complaints from me about it, I hasten to add).

Actually, come to think of it, I flew C ZRH-LCY about a year ago (LX460, leaving at 8:45), and IIRC it was just a fruit salad thing plus the bread basket passed round on that occasion.
Is 8:45 too late already to qualify for (proper) Breakfast service?
