I also think the non-stop on CO is a no-brainer. The flat-beds are not inferior to SQ's wider-but-not-one-touch-flat-bed C seats on the 777 from LAX, and CO's J food is better and more plentiful than SQ's C IMHO. And there isn't much difference on IFE either. I love SQ but for this route, CO is a no-brainer to me. YMMV.
