With respect to the additional EUR 15, do complain and ask nicely for a refund. I guess that the web incident was too recent for a contingency process to have trickled down to the phone reservation agents. Who knows, you might even get some bonus miles out of the incident.
Hi JOUY31,

Yes I did send them a nice request to waver the unfair EUR 15 fee. Could never dream of sending the poor souls handling customer complaints nasty messages as they can't have a nice job most of the time. Anyway, first the agent told me that he couldn't sell me the ticket at the price initially quoted over the net (and which I had a booking code for) and quoted EUR 300 extra for a new ticket. Could have been a misunderstanding as his English was brutal, but still better than my French I do take my hat of for him giving it a shot though and we finished the phone call as new best friends.

Mon chere GenevaFlyer,

Yes that was my first reaction but I kept getting "no connection error" in a red box when trying to access my FB account through KLM.com. Also tried both the KL and AF iPhone app and same luck there, i.e. non so FB must have been involved somehow...

At the end of the EUR 15 is not masses of money and I'm not even paying for it myself but it is the though of being ripped off I don't like and especially when it is some else's money and something I'm not at fault at either...

I shall update when (and if) any such should occur
