I have been getting offers like this for the last few years. I have been avoiding them due to the " If you ever had a Skymiles CC you are ineligible clause". Now it seems that the restriction on once in a life time has been reworded. Has anyone successfully churned these since the rewording. I have a targeted 40K offer that only restricts to members not currently having a Skymiles CC. It mentions nothing about ever having a card in the past. I looked up the cancel date on my very last Skymiles card and it was late 2006.

My targeted offer is 25K for first spend. 15K for 1K spend in 90 days. No fee for the first year. This seems like one of the better offers.
