I was thinking the same. US-India fare seasons are affected by TATL. It's high season to India whenever it's high season TATL even though it might not be a heavy tourist season. Additionally, it becomes more difficult to get tickets to India at times of Indian festivals even when TATL is in low or shoulder season.
US-India has historically had the lowest slack in capacity over all for the last 15 years or so, since the IT revolution in India.
