It was great timing starting this thread as I'm thinking about having the same treatment. When I travel and chat to other regular flyers in airports I'm always amazed when they say they don't look at Flyertalk it is so useful and entertaining.

I've just called Moorfields and it is about £4240 for both eyes plus £200 for the consultation. They take Amex so 6675 BA Miles on my BA Amex.

I live in Birmingham for my sins and Midland eye hospital is £3530 for both eyes, £100 for consultation. They are probably my best option here but don't take Amex
