Last year I got the AmEx Delta Platinum card for some 50k bonus miles. I cancelled the card about a month ago.
Today I got an email offer for the AmEx Delta Platinum card again! This time some 40k miles for getting the "new" card. Is this possilbe? THe fine print mentioned limitations if you have a current AmEx Delta card, but I didn't see anything about having had one before.
Most of the time it is only once per card (or must wait 2 years between cards).
Step 1 - you did get plat delta card last year
Step 2 - get gold card this year
Step 3 - get reserve card next year
Rise and repeat each 3 year cycle and get lots O'points
