TPA/ORD 4/2
actually got a cheap fare on the 435pm flight TPA/ORD, plus got an upgrade. Checked in (3d in line) at the Premier counter 1/2 hour before. Checked 2 bags, had orange tags put on them. Went out to the airside to the typical seething throng of people trying to board a 757. Was in row 6, window. A more experienced crew of flight attendants than the norm. Strange that there were at least 4 kids (all one family) in f/c (pretty obviously with their parents--later I saw that they had connected from Cayman Airlines) Chicken or beef, f/a started at the front, everyone had a choice. (I was the last person asked). Interesting that on Good Friday they didn't have a vegetarian/fish dish as one of the offerings. I asked if they were putting more meals on board these days--F/A said no, and thanked me for saying I didn't care what I had for dinner (I had dinner plans later). They were stingy on the pre-dinner drinks but really were pushing wine/champagne. Only neat touch was the lead f/a, at the end of the flight while they were passing around the hot towels, had arranged them on a tray with dry ice in a cup so it was a foggy thing (unfortunately, the kids were all sacked out so couldn't see it). It showed some neat initiative (unfortunately cooled off the hot towels badly, but it was warm and sticky both in TPA and ORD yesterday).
