I think UA has fixed that problem as well. I've been rebooked into Y a few times this year due to IRROPS, and the mileage credit and EQMs have posted as the ticketed booking code (i.e. lower economy fare) rather than the 1.5 for Y/B.
I think this is more like hit-or-miss. On a single trip, I had two rebookings due to irregular ops. One of them got bonus and the other did not get.
