So bottom line is, IF you pre-pay your stay, you won't be accruing points? I recently got a great rate at the St. Regis Princeville but will be pre-paying my Virtuoso travel agent.

Just wanted to see if there is any clarity in that regard. I don't care about the starpoints that much (gasp) but if I deserve them, I want them.
