Lufthansa A319 tail

Prior to boarding, I noticed the GA going around and taking a look at the amount of carryon baggage that people had. I later found out that this bird featured the new Y seats so she must have been gauging the amount of luggage that passengers had. Boarding was quick, though I found it odd that they only made one announcement for boarding, simply stating that boarding would begin shortly. A few minutes later, they just started scanning boarding passes and the process had begun.

AF A380 coming in June to IAD

The flight was under an hour so it went by rather quickly. It would be nice to see UA cater like this for a flight like this, but who am I kidding, it’s just a silly dream.

Arrival into Frankfurt

We parked at the far end of Terminal A, so I walked and walked and walked to the main terminal. It was close to a 10 minute walk and I am a fast walker who utilized all of the moving walkways. For those that are slow, this walk can easily take over 20 minutes.

There weren’t many of us waiting for luggage as I’m sure many were transferring, but my priority tag did work and my bag was the first one off the belt.

I caught the S-Bahn into the city, though I actually went the wrong way at first (stupid me for not reading where the final stop was) so I had to get off at the next stop and switch directions.
