+1. The lounges in MUC are really nice and have excellent shower facilities to freshen up after the long flight. Connecting at MUC is a breeze. ^

I try to avoid FRA whenever possible, although it is not as bad as many people say it is

LHR might be a good choice on US and on to TXL on BD, who also have decent lounge/shower facilities at LHR T1 and an okay C/Cl product.

Swiss does not fly into Philly afaik, so you would have to connect in JFK/EWR/ORD/MIA/YUL afaik. A friend recently fly their new C/Cl on the A333 and liked it.
