Question OT - Any views on Qatar Airways?
Evening all

I am contemplating purchasing a J ticket on Qatar from DPS or SIN back to LHR (one way). Flight will be beginning of September.

The price seems fair enough at about GBP 1,500 and the schedule is not too bad at all - I think I can cope with the 3.5 Hour transit in the Doha Premium Terminal I am just looking for reasonable value for money on a decent airline rather than breaking the bank with BA or SQ.

I have done some research on the Qatar forum and trip reports (very few) and wondered whether anyone here had any recent experience. The likely equipment looks like the 77W (2-class) which seems to be preferred in J.

Any ideas what to do with the miles if I sign up for their programme?

Any tips/thoughts most welcome.
