Although I know friends who flew half way round the world to have it done more cheaply, for example in South Africa (this is quite some years ago, when the procedure was more expensive in real terms, I believe), I'd be reluctant to travel far in case of any problems. A reputable centre would be responsible for any after-care problems and that becomes a lot more difficult if you have to get on a plane to get there.
