They are 50-seaters, so they will intially replace ERJ frequencies. The Dash 8-Q300 is decidedly more like a Q200 than a Q400... noisier, older, slower.
Been on many Q2's and 3's on US Exp. Generally not the nicest aircraft.
That said, you say they will replace ERJ frequencies, they are also adding on PHL-EWR (1 flight on Q3 in August) which has been traditionally just Q2 on that very short hop flight.
