My colleague did on Sunday (and paid circa £3k to go somewhere very reputable) - she went for the 24hr check-up with the optician yesterday, and one eye isn't right (it's very swollen and very bloodhsot). They were concerned so she is in London right now seeing the precise guy who did the laser treatment so he can look at it in more detail.

I am sure she will be ok, but it's worrying. Mrs 747_not_777 wants it done, but I am very cautious. You only get given two eyes in this life, and do you want to risk something that could potentially make a vision problem worse or give you new problems...

I'm not so sure I would, even if the chances of problems are very very slim.
