I am curious about these promos.
I recently got an email for one and lodged a request for an upcoming SYD/LAX flight. (There's two of us and I'm only PS, so the chances are extremely small on that route. But better than no chance at all, which is what I had before!)
Does anyone have a sense of how often these happen? Who gets the offers? My recent experience was the first time I've ever seen or heard of one.
