Sorry to hear about this frustrating situation. Am I to understand that the $700 Flight Credit can only be used by your wife ? Is the Flight Credit a paper certificate or an eCertificate ? I have never heard of such a restrictive credit.

You should consider applying for Membership in Flyertalk Coupon Connection before they change the requirements (they are increasing the number of posts to 180). You should be able to join now. Go to the top of the Flyertalk, checkout "Community" and look for Coupon Connection(CC). On CC you will find hard core coupon traders and many subject matter experts concerning how to get value out of soon to be expiring coupons.
