Hi all, I am trying to get some advice on the best way to use aeroplan miles.

I used to always think that the best way is to use it on flights, because using it on where it's coming from should be the most efficient way and get most value. However, with the high fuel taxes etc, I need to rethink what's the best way to use aeroplan miles.

I'm thinking to use it on car rental and hotels, is it worthy? do I have to pay some fees as well for the hotel reward?
