Glad I decided to come here and seek others opinions before booking.

I had heard that the rooms were a bit dated, but was hoping they had updated them by now. Based on the general consensus so far, it seems this property has quite a bit of negatives.

I wasn't planning to venture into Ft Lauderdale, so I might see what the Mandarin has to offer.
