You need to have pausible story. Eg. a two week holiday in the US or a jaunt to LAS would justify a reasonable amount of USD currency. If your job requires business travel to various locations (with passport full of visa stamps), the having several currencies is perfectly reasonable and is more believable than having just one currency.
