Travellers on up to six flights every morning, during the airport’s busiest period, regularly check in and proceed through security in the new terminal – before being instructed to walk through a maze of corridors back to the old terminal...

...Incredibly, the DAA said this weekend that it had planned such a system all along, insisting: ‘It was designed this way.’

I suppose there's some logic in it - somewhere.
