Transferred some miles yesterday through the Amex account.. and I noticed that the ratios were 1,000 Amex miles for 1,000 AE miles.. then the other options UA, CO, Delta, etc were all 1,000 Amex miles for 750 of the other airline miles. (Canadian website)
Given the 25% devaluation.. I would work with AE, for the star alliance flights, then to devalue my points. Disappointing, as I was hoping with the new Delta miles to do something with them. I guess the only way we'll accumulate is by flying with them, because I'm not in the business of redeeming devalued points. uugh.
