$800 international flight with an 18 hour layover in Amsterdam. I contacted Delta to inquire about staying for one more night and was quoted an additional $1400 for the change fee and fare. The agent did have a sense of humor and advised booking another flight, another warmer month. Amsterdam was quite cold so the visit was not pleasant regardless.
