As a general rule for SYD, LHS for landing, and RHS for departures. From/to the north you should get views of the harbour and city. From/to the south you get views of the Royal Nationl Park, Cronulla beach and Botany Bay.
You should also think about where the sun will be, and if you want it in your eyes.
