It's a sore point with me.
I bought 2 round trips Haneda - Orlando on Delta a few months ago.
I calculated the value of the miles earned and found that it was worthwhile.
During the 1st trip Delta changed the price of the awards that I wanted to use from 20,000 slymiles to about , well, what does it matter because they also removed the low award inventory.
I learned from this .
Now I don't buy tickets on Delta . I strongly advise others to avoid the whole Slymiles scam and use a carrier with better practices.
