Crowne Plaza Suzhou (Master Thread)
I've just noticed that the current and only CP in Suzhou:

has nothing to do with the CP Suzhou I stayed at in 2007:

yet they share the same name (Crowne Plaza Suzhou) and the address. Has it been fully refurbished and enlarged lately? It would be a real shame, because it was a real ancient Chinese building -a former government guest house for Chinese Government Officials and foreign guests- and it was a great experience staying there.

Can anyone shed some light on what's happened to this hotel? Thanks.
