As channa said, you don't need one for the CO lounges, but other *A lounges (like US) you'll need the card as they claim to not be able to look you up (unlike the old NW ability). Also, if you have an old card, it still works! I have 3 "active" cards... I had the original Skyteam logo card but it kept giving issues, so the agent at CLE ordered me a new one right before the *A went into effect, so CO sent me one without a logo. Then they sent another with the *A logo shortly after. I misplace stuff all the time, so I rotate between whatever of the 3 I can find in my bag/wallet/etc first and they all work in CO/UA/US/Lufthansa lounges.
