You may have noticed that some Sheraton hotels are replacing the blue / maroon / brownish-green duvet covers with white ones (with the sheraton crest imprint which I thought looks a bit cheesy). I was told its the new brand standard (?)

While I generally like white linens, the original coloured duvet covers with white strips (which usually matches the room decor) gives the Sheraton room an identity and it reminds you are staying in a Sheraton hotel. Now you wont know whether its a Sheraton Sweet Sleeper or a Westin Heavenly, or a Hilton or the new LM bed.

Does anyone actually prefer the new white duvet cover ???
