The strain seems to already be showing. After having lived in Dubai for the past 5 years I can anecdotally report that for the past two months, flights that I or my colleagues have caught that were scheduled to arrive at DXB between about 11:30PM and 1:30 AM have often been subjected to stacking over the sea just off Sharjah for up to 75 minutes before being able to land. I have already started to adjust my travel plans (where possible) to avoid this landing window as I fear that this is the beginning of congestion problems.
