Just flew yyc-yyz-bog-ctg in the last ten days, with avianca experience. Thought all my flights were booked under air Canada, avianca does not have access aircanada flight network yet. Ironically my luggage was directly forwarded to Cartagena from Bogota while I cleared Columbia immigration and waited for picking up my luggage, and eventually picked up my luggage in Cartagena, apparently a security flaw. On return, Avianca could not check my Air Canada flight from Cartagena.

Currently there are lots of constructions in Bogota airport, particularly between the international terminal and the domestic, it is very chaotic there with check-in and luggage tagging.
