I don't think Hyatt needs another level between Platinum and Diamond. I like Hyatt's Platinum rewards that essentially work you up to Diamond. I think it's a nice incentive package.

I'm actually more curious as to why Hilton has Silver status sandwiched in between Blue and Gold, or why there is even a Blue to begin with.
