If it were me, I would go with a Rimowa Limbo.

Polycarbonate shell for lightweight.
Magnesium frame for strength.
lockable latches instead of zippers.

I've got my eye on one for a carry on, but I recently bought a 29" Rimowa Topas aluminum case. So I've blown my luggage budget for awhile.
