Funny thing is, it would have alarmed the WTMD, and the HHMD on further inspection and escalated from there. Instead, thousands of other people were inconvenienced and harassed to catch the one idiot.

Of course, TSA acknowledged that the knife likely wouldn't have done much, but still pats itself on the back for finding it.

Meanwhile, I had a metal serrated knife with my breakfast on a UA flight in F the other day ...
