Believe me AC headquarters is reactionary not visionary. Their long range plans only go to the end of next month.
This debacle has been caused by AC not knowing its customers. Remember, they don't collect AP points or enjoy the benefits that we do. Now I will retract part of this by saying that there are a few who have had experience outside the industry and have had to actually buy a ticket or have known what it is to be a FF'r. I am a bit puzzled because Rupert has not spent his entire life in Fort Fumble on lac St Louis. He is the one that brought in the increase in benefits to Elite and SE members when AC was doing battle with CP. His attitude in the past was that no J seat should go empty if there is an upper level AP member sitting in economy. Another person who brought all of the increase in benefits five years ago is Marc Trudeau. He took a lot of heat for "giving away too much".
Who is leading this campaign at AC?
