Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that Lifetime Gold would also give the OP the ability to upgrade any coach fare via 500-mile sticker, as opposed to non-status passengers, who can only upgrade the more expensive B or Y fares. It's a small perk, but a valuable one.
