There are no flights available with miles for LHR - CPH on BA, so considering either:

--Buying Economy ticket on BA (but will it be a total let down after out First flight?)

--Using Star Alliance miles for a Business Class ticket on SAS (which does have availability).

Am wondering if getting luggage, changing terminals is a hassle for the SAS flight, compared to what will be an easy transfer to the BA Econ flight?

Thanks for any advice.

For a 1hr 45 flight i would book a seperate ET ticket on BA flying LHR-CPH

on arrival at LHR you will have access to the BA lounges because you arrived in First

typically 70-80 quid per sector for LHR-CPH-LHR which if you really want can be upgraded via MMB to CE.

This would allow you to transfer you bags without having to collect them at LHR and would remove your need to change terminals, which for such a short flight is heck of a lot of hassle !
