I flew out of Miami on Monday and realized the checked-in counter has been moved from the new J Concourse to old G Concourse, where CO has been operating for a few years. J is a state of the art facility where US, AC, LH and other *A carriers are operating out of.
G is old, small, and so 1970's style concourse. It does not appear to have been maintained properly for a while.
I don't understand why not just move CO to J Concourse to be with the rest of the *A carriers. Now there are less check-in counters and the surrounding areas are small and packed with terminal passengers.
Inside the G councourse, there are no decent places to eat or sit down, and no even a decent newspaper shops to browse.
The arriving luggage will continue to be going to J....go figure!

After landing in G, passengers have to walk a long way to J to retrieve their luggage!
This is a change that I don't like it!
