Gave up on Hertz. Managed to get something decent on Avis instead. I did manage to dig up some 1-day free coupon for Hertz if I rent a full size. Would save me CAD 8 vs. if I rent Intermediate on Avis. But then, going back to the idea of narrower roads in Vancouver........

The 1-day free thing with Budget only applies to rentals beginning before June 30, but thanks for the tip anyway. =)
