By the way, do you know whether or not QF is a bit more lenient on checked baggage for OW Emeralds (AA EXP) traveling on QF flights (not Jet Star) in Economy?

AYQ-MEL is not an issue since I am booked in business, but SYD-CNS-AYQ are booked in economy and I am a bit concerned with the luggage as my wife and I usually end up carrying bags that weight more than 23 kgs each (we have another week or so in S.E. Asia after Australia!).
