Can I check bags midtrip between flights during a layover (<4hrs)?
I'm looking to book a flight from SFO-MSP-BOS, with a 3:30 layover in MSP. This will be more than enough time to grab a burger at the soon-to-reopen Nook (crnook.com, Randolph and hamline in st Paul, easy bus ride or $10 cab ride from MSP and the best burgers in the universe) and load up on Surly beer which you can't get outside Minn.

The question is, can I check a suitcase from MSP to BOS in the middle of he trip? I'll have one bag checked from SFO-MSP and want to add another, can his be done? (I'm FO so it's free)

Anyone done this or know the policy?
