As for international rentals with Gold, it works for me!! At Dublin Airport, I've always been upgraded -- had Audis and BMWs. At London Heathrow, no matter what I do to book a standard manual (stick shift) car, I always get an automatic. In Milan, I went from a midsize to a gorgeous Alfa Romeo 164. So fill out the form ... it cuts out the lines and sometimes gets you a better car!
