Anybody try this? Renting earlier than you need but picking up later.

I need a car for 4 days. Say, the 20th to 24th. I need to return rent on the 20th at 2PM and return on the 24th at 12PM. This rental will be a 4-day rate at the daily rate.

What if I book for 20th 8AM and return 24th 12PM and do a "late" pickup at 2PM? The booking itself would be under the weekly rate. Now would Hertz switch to daily rate?
