His appetizers, the mains. Trio of duck was ok, but got old after two flights. Same with the Lufty Classic option (not Burke's fault) - the ribs tended to be dried out. On two flights the stewardesses in F described his appetizers as weird (in both cases referring to the pastrami tower with bits of egg on top).
That said, I was in the MUC FCL this morning and they had a display of the cheesecake lollipops (leftovers from several days ago?). Caused flashbacks!
Perhaps LH could institute a "book the cook" concept ex-FRA & MUC for longhaul F. Seems to work well with both SQ and TG, but then their food is typically decent even off the main menu.
At least it isn't the slop on UA. LH should avoid Charlie Trotter too.
